Tension Headaches

• Description: The most common type of headache, often described as a constant ache or pressure around the head, especially at the temples or back of the head and neck.
• Symptoms: Dull, aching head pain, tightness or pressure across the forehead, sides, and back of the head, tenderness on the scalp, neck, and shoulder muscles.

Migraine Headaches

• Description: Intense, throbbing pain usually on one side of the head, often accompanied by nausea, vomiting, and extreme sensitivity to light and sound.
• Symptoms: Severe throbbing or pulsing pain, nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to light and sound, aura (visual disturbances like flashes of light or blind spots).

Cluster Headaches

• Description: Occur in cyclical patterns or clusters, often described as severe burning or piercing pain behind or around one eye.
• Symptoms: Excruciating pain around one eye, restlessness, redness in the eye on the affected side, stuffy or runny nose on the affected side.

Sinus Headaches

• Description: Caused by inflammation of the sinuses, often due to infection.
• Symptoms: Deep and constant pain in the cheekbones, forehead, or bridge of the nose, nasal discharge, fever, facial swelling.

Rebound Headaches

• Description: Result from overuse of headache medications.
• Symptoms: Daily or almost daily headaches, worsening of pain with medication use, improvement with discontinuation of medication.
